project summary

The GreenHost project, funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ CoVe (Vocational Centres of Excellence) program, brings together a group of 19 partners from 7 countries. The project's objectives are to enable interactions, exchanges, and upward convergence between vocational training institutions at all levels of education and industry representatives, with the aim of integrating ecological and digital practices into the hotel management curriculum and helping students, professionals, and trainers improve and requalify their skills. Two specific needs have been identified for the Hospitality and Tourism sector, which the project aims to address: (1) the lack of professional qualifications; (2) the need to become ecological and sustainable.

The project will be developed in different phases: (1) an initial activity of gathering needs and best practices in collaboration with partners in various countries; (2) a phase of developing materials for training, improvement, and requalification of students and professionals in the sector; (3) organization of study visits and professional internships to offer practical experiences and exchanges.
