project summary
The HOSP-ECO project is designed as a European consortium of seven partners – coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Porto – and focuses on how the hotel industry will be supported in the shift from Traditional Leadership to Leadership for Sustainability.
The HOSP-ECO project implemented a Teaching and Vocational Training methodology to help hotel management acquire sustainability leadership skills, through the development of a training course and digital tools to facilitate the change in the sustainability culture. Additionally, a digital tool for calculating the carbon footprint of the hotel sector was developed.
