project summary

The IMMiNTE project, consisting of a consortium of five international partners (Portugal, Greece, Spain, Sweden, and Cyprus), aims to promote new digital tools and professional training to facilitate cultural diversity and the inclusion of immigrants, in order to meet the needs of the hotel and tourism sector market. In this sense, the aim is to train and retrain immigrants with professional skills to thrive in the HORECA sector; equip the HORECA sector with the necessary skills to create a diverse workforce, improving service quality and ensuring cultural transition; and raise awareness among policy makers of the value of a diverse workforce.  By involving industry stakeholders through round tables and digital workshops, the project not only disseminates best practices but also creates a collaborative network that supports ongoing professional development initiatives. In addition, it aims to contribute to the development of policies and strategies that help create an environment conducive to inclusive hiring practices, ensuring that training is supported by appropriate labour market policies.
