The Master's Degree in Sustainability in Tourism and Hospitality aims to provide differentiating, advanced training, specialized in sustainability, addressing the current gaps in the Tourism and Hospitality sectors. Supported by applied scientific research, this Master's degree will allow the creation of new knowledge, solutions and applications in the area, and train professionals capable of introducing innovative thinking in a highly competitive context, responding to the needs of tourists, the industry, the environment, communities and stakeholders who seek to maintain a long-term competitive advantage. This involves ensuring scientifically rigorous training in multi- and transdisciplinary fields, namely tourism and hospitality, in connection therewith the incorporation and mastery of strategies leading to business and professional success, in sustainability management on the social, economic and environmental dimensions, applied to destinations and companies.

The course will enable the acquisition of skills, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities of sustainability and governance indicators, framed in the needs of those who develop or intend to develop their specialized activity in management, consultancy and/or direction positions in Tourism, Hotel and Catering: Responsible for the strategic planning and development of companies and tourist destinations Senior public administration staff (local, regional or national) Marketing and communication managers in Tourism, Hotel and Catering Consultants and Researchers in Tourism, Hotel and Catering Directors of tourist establishments Senior executives of tourism, leisure and recreation companies Manager of Tourism, Hotel and Catering companies Teachers in the area of ??tourism training

Holders of a Bachelor's degree organised in 180 ECTS or legal equivalent; Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process; Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognised as meeting the objectives of the Bachelor's degree by the Technical-Scientific Council; Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to the capacity to undertake this cycle of studies; Holders of a Two-stage Bachelor's degree or Bachelor's degree organised in 300 ECTS or legal equivalent.
